Bare Minerals For Acne

How To Apply Bare Minerals.
Bare Minerals are not only great for your skin but they are also really easy to use. Here is a quick guide on how to properly apply your bare minerals makeup for best results.
- Clean your face well with soap and water to remove impurities – pat dry.
- Unscrew the cap on the foundation container and gently sift the minerals from the container through the small holes into the lid. Take your brush and gently swirl the minerals up into the brush.
- Tap the side of the lid with your brush to remove any excess minerals, which will keep your brush from getting “caked” with way too much makeup.
- Gently swirl the minerals over your skin beginning near your cheeks and covering your problem areas (remember to use a circular motion as you apply your foundation).
- Repeat steps 2-4 with the mineral veil powder and the radiance product (if purchased).
- Now your skin should appear beautiful, youthful and glowing.
- If you feel that you are not getting enough coverage, you may want to purchase a concealer which can help hide trouble spots.

Bare Minerals Review
Bare Minerals is a little pricier than some of the other mineral makeups out there (about $18 each) but I definitely think it’s worth a try. When I first used it, it took a little practice to get it down how to apply the foundation. My sister had to actually show me how she does it.I really liked how light it felt and was shocked that I didn’t really need to put much on to completely blend it over my skin. Although the coverage didn’t last the entire day, from morning to night, it did last until the mid-afternoon. But I really don’t think any makeup lasts all day long.
I also really like that it has SPF 15 in it, and it’s especially great because most sunscreens tend to clog my pores and this doesn’t at all. I can actually fall asleep with it on and not wake up with that cakey feeling and also know I’m not going to break out because of it. That has been a major selling point for me because I do sometimes fall asleep and forget to wash my face, and before I used Bare Minerals I would break out every time I fell asleep with makeup on. It’s definitely nice to not have to worry about that anymore.
The only thing about it I didn’t like was that the powder gets all over the place when you put it on. Because it’s such a light powder, it kind of gets everywhere so you have to be careful and I usually put it on before I get dressed so it doesn’t fall onto my clothes.

I don't normally wear make up; I am blessed with good skin at the age of 50 and really don't need anything but blush and I love to wear good mascara. BUT, with that said, when I want to go out and look good, the ONLY make up I wear is Bare Minerals. The foundation and warm radiance are fantastic. My skin looks so smooth and feels smooth too! I joined their club and have found some products that I wasn't aware of. It is fun to try their new products and be able to take advantage of the clug membership. Thanks to Bare Minerals! They truly have the healthiest products for your skin. Natural skin care and make up is the best!! No matter your age, this looks fantastic.

I just receive my Bare Minerals in the mail and immediately put them on, after styling my hair. I feel I look younger than I have in many years past. I have a lot of wrinkles that liquid makeup just enhance. I am 65 and have had one face lift, one lifestyle lift and one redo life lift, Laser facial resurfacing, peels, scrubs, all kinds of creams, lotions, juvederm, botox and all for looking terrible and being depressed. Shark oil is the only thing that smooths the wrinkles and repairs my face. I scrub at night then go to bed with Destinne ointment all over my face/ remove eye makeup with mineral oil and tissue. All vegetable shortening is wholesome to clean my facet at night; unlike cold cream, it does not contain animal fat, wax or purfume. I am a happy camper.

I love BE but hated the mess. I purchased The Original Mineral Savers to prevent the minerals from leaking out of the sifter when the jars were in my purse and they work great.

I love this line. I've been using it since 2006, when I first walked into the Bare Escentuals store at a mall here in Dallas for a sample. I have good skin in general, but this foundation makes me look absolutely amazing. The only qualm I have about it is that I can't order it online or over the phone...my skin tone isn't covered by the products as they stand. I have to get a custom blend from a sales associate, a mix of medium and deep to make medium deep. Still, I like how it makes me look, and the fact that my skin doesn't absorb it makes me really happy. I'll keep using it for years to come.

i had that product for gift at Chismass,i was glad but so so untill i try it,i dont know why i dint buy before because its make you and look like a movie stars and stay nice long time on your skin beautifuly,I am sorry for my english,but i am sincerely happy.Thank you.

I just recently started using this product. It is so amazing. I have somewhat bad acne, and this stuff worked well to clear it up. It also surprisingly cleared my redness. The shades really do match mine, which is weird because I can never find a shade that matches perfectly. I love how light and airy it leaves my face--it's definitely the best foundation I've ever tried.
